With demand driving prices to record levels for clinical laboratory companies and anatomic pathology practices, merger and acquisition (M&A) activity in the lab industry continues to grow across the United States. Sonic Healthcare Moves into Hawaii by Acquiring Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii

Earlier today, Sonic Healthcare, Ltd. of Sydney, Australia, announced the acquisition of Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii LLC (CLH), based outside Honolulu in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Sonic disclosed that it will pay approximately US$121 million for CLH, which has annual revenues of about $110 million.
