Using Data Analytics to Optimize Your Investment in Advanced Technology Laboratories in the Hospital Setting

Explosion of the molecular and esoteric testing program industry means that a large number of laboratories are now offering these testing services, or are at least considering it.

Fact is, advanced technology laboratories are expensive to develop and operate, with many questions arising that are difficult to answer. Examples of these questions include: Which tests should be in-house, and which should be sent out? Is increased staffing necessary? What is the actual economic feasibility of your endeavors?

Using effective data analytics can provide certainty behind your decisions and provide the basis for engagement of senior management on investment opportunities, based on facts—rather than assumptions or a gut feeling—which translates to better and more reliable decisions.

This 90-minute webinar, including an interactive Q&A session, will enable you to understand how data analytics can optimize your investment in an advanced technology laboratory by providing tools to better manage resources, interpret latent capacity, support improved operations, and smooth the path to implement positive change in your lab.

Attend this program, and our speakers will guide you through the following specific strategies:

• Hear about simulation and data modeling tools that can support your decision-making, monitor performance reliability, and add value to your organization

• How to engage effectively with senior management on investment opportunities based on data-driven facts, rather than supposition, to mitigate risk and to ensure expected results

• Learn from a case study of how one advanced technology laboratory effectively used data analytics to capitalize on new opportunities and improve its product

Who should attend?
