Sylvia Christensen is a freelance technical editor, researcher, and writer. She has worked on user guides, training manuals, marketing and press materials for The Photodex Corporation, National Instruments, Encotech Engineering, Tk20, and Axxiom Technologies. She is currently a contributing editor to DARK Daily, the online subscription resource dedicated to helping provide relevant information and insight to clinical laboratories, pathology laboratories and the laboratory profession.

Sylvia currently provides articles to numerous websites that compare and review consumer products and continues to provide written documentation and marketing materials to select companies in Austin, Texas and California. In addition to written content, Sylvia creates interactive demo and training CDs for software companies to show how their products work. She also provides voiceover talent for technical and marketing materials.

Sylvia received her B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Austin and her M.S. in advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her base of operations is Austin, Texas.
